car wont start (stock bov)

I tried to start my car today. It has been about 2 weeks since I have started it. I took the turbo off and reinstalled it with heat shields. I connected everything up except the stock bov.

While I had been working on it, I took out the split air pipe and the ACV. I made block off plates for both of those.

So now I just have the stock bov plumed into the tid but it is not connected to anything on the back b/c I cant remember where it connected to. Did it go on the acv somewhere.

When I try to start the car, it will fire up for about 1 - 2 seconds then die.

I have had this same problem before when I had disconnected the stock bov before so I am pretty sure this is the problem.

So my questoin, where does the stock bov go, the acv? and what about now that there is no acv?

Thanks.

Tim

The stock bov is connected to the turbo outlet then it blows off into the tid.You probably have a vacuum leak somewhere.

I know I have a vac leak b/c the bov is not connected to anything, so right now the turbo outlet is just open, (hence the vac leak.)

I cannot for the life of me though find the outlet on the turbo. Is it on the turbo itself? (the intake side? exhaust side?) Does anyone have a picture. I have looked through the fsm's and they dont show a pic.

Thanks.

Well, in reference to the Vac leak, thats why your car wont run.

As for the pic, hold on, and I will take one.

*edit* after re-reading your post, I am lost. What do you need a pic of?

Well you'll have to reconnect the turbo to intercooler duct.On that duct has the connection for the bov.

J-Rat, I need a picture of the stock bov. Where it connects, not to the TID, but the other side. Thankyou.
