Car won't start due to no fuel in my TII!!!

I have a white 90 TII. Been trying to get my JDM Motor running. I am getting no fuel. Checked for fuel through the hoses and got none. The fuel pump is not getting no power. It doesn't make any noise at all when ON. My friend who is a certified mechanic and worked on rotaries threw some gas in the throttle elbow and the car fired right up quick and sounded strong idling but died as soon as that fuel ran out. So I know its a fuel problem. I just don't know what is causing it. The fuses look fine. I do have two connectors on the back a black and a white that is not plugged in. My JDM intake manifold doesnt have those extra sensors like the USDM. Are those important to the fuel. They both are the same shape and look like a T shape. At least the terminals look like a T. I don't know what else it could be. My harness is stock USDM and the engine is a full jdm. stock fuel pump. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Maybe it is a gorunding problem, have you checked your grounds? Perhaps you could wire a relay to turn your fuel pump on and run it straight from the battery using your ignition switch.

The pump only runs if the key is held to START or if the engine actually starts and runs and you let the key return to ON.

There is a fuel pump check connector near the afm/boost sensor. It is yellow in color and two socket. Jumper that plug and turn the key to ON. The pump WILL run now.

Still no fuel but the pump runs? Figures. The JDM and USA fuel feed and return lines are opposite. At the engine swap the two lines on the left of the engine.

Life's easy.

I didn't get the last sentence. So, you say that the fuel feed and return line are different? I'll check it out tommorow.
