Car won't start or crank/electrical issues?

To start off, I drive a S4 TII.

Two days ago, I was driving the car on a cold start, small distance from my house to the gas station. I filled up gas, then turned, the key. Nothing, no lights or crank. So I pushed it to somewhere else. Called, my friend, he came and fixed the problem.

Yesterday, again I drove barely pass my house. The car dies, I start it up again. This happens again, then the car finally dies. The hazard lights don't even turn on. So I open the hood. Got the tools from the garage. Disconnected the battery and jiggled the clamps alittle ( that's what my friend did the day before to make it drive again). Tried to turn on the car, but doesn't crank or anything. Weird thing is when I leave the key in with the door open, it still makes the "ding" noise. BTW the warning lights don't flash, but I take it you guys know that already. Later that day, I tried to jump start the car. The warning lights glow for about half a second, then still nothing. The lights won't turn on, and the car won't crank.

Today I got a voltmeter and messured the battery, it's fine at 12.7 Volts. Mind you, the battery was brand new about a month old. I also checked the fuses, they are fine, too. So any diagnosis?

Check the integrity of the ground wires and the ground wire connections. Particularly the attachment points on the top of the bell housing and the connection to the fuse box on the drivers side shock tower.
