Car wont start anymore, is this the end?

Me and my friend we're playing with the car, messing with the throttle, making it go idle to 2K max not like revving it sky high..

Anyways it swiches to the O2 Sensor mode, drops idle to 500-700rpm. We put speakers (toren apart) and the coolent exhaust came through the tiny holes in teh speakers, looked funny, we uupped teh throttle alittle and ONE just ONE speaker would fall off, then I noticed the exhaust on the left side pipe was flaming HOTer.

So anyways, we kept that one off and was about to take the other one offf then

dudnaa dudnaa dudn dud duuddd duddnaaaa then dies... I'm like WTFBBQCAKES?!?!

We know it has a bad coolent/oil control seals but it wasnt that bad, all i did today was add water to the collent filler neck.

I try to start it agian, 2 mins later or so, it catches goes to 800rpm then dies O_o

I try again for 3-5 mins, WONT catch, I gave it gas, etc.

its a 1991 automatic RX-7 with less then 80K mi on it.

So what should I look at? Btw the exhaust was HOT and smelled BAD.

and at one rpm area, I think roughly 1,200rpm it would make this scratching sound (on the housings?) not sure but maybe the apex seals? or coolent seals blew out of the engine

anyways, thanks for anyhelp i dunno whatelse to do

Not when it died, it was the kind of clear nasty *** smelling exhaust, not sweet, not oil smelling. Just gross and my nose hurt for a few hours...also our car port/house smelled like the exhaust too O_o

Also when I try to turn it over, its like trying to do so when the EGI (if i remember right) fuse is removed.

Do a compression test.

Running your coolant low probably didn't help your situation, too.

And do you have oil in the car?

I'm pretty sure, the stick was at fullish about 2 weeks ago, smelled horrid of gas though.

The heat never went past bout 60% of the gauge.

How can i do a compresson test? I only got basic tools with pretty good brain.

As far as I know you need a PSI gauge? and turn over the engine with the EGI fuse removed do it for each housing??

What would cause it to just DIE like that, I drove it alittle while ago maybe a week or so, it was still fast, reved up to 7K perfectly.

Ok I'm updating this since people are prob reading this and thinking

LOLZ NOOBSAUCE and don't reply.

I got it to turn over, I'm not keeping it on reason: its shaking sporatically, the hood is going up and down and I'm scared to go outside of the car away from beingable to turn off the key easially lol...

Whys it shaking so bad? Also the exhaust is thicker then someone taking a HUGE drag on a cigarette

Now, i just recently got over a little carbon lock, but i'm not sure if that's your problem..it's when the seals dry up, and well, the engine basically locks up...did you let your car sit for a while? like a few days?...'cause once you get it to actually start (usually giving it some gas) it blows some of the thickest white smoke i've ever seen...now the "jumping sporatically" i have no idea...in fact that's kind of scary....might wanna have someone look at it...

So its shaking really bad while running.. Does it rev up pretty slow when you hit the gas?

We put speakers (toren apart) and the coolent exhaust came through the tiny holes in teh speakers, looked funny, we uupped teh throttle alittle and ONE just ONE speaker would fall off, then I noticed the exhaust on the left side pipe was flaming HOTer.
I have no idea of what to make of this

it works fine now O_o

the throttle is pretty DAMN fast, straight up to 7K minus the plume of blue smoke...

anyways the exhaust pipes shake a bit more like yesterday when it died...still.

I think the carbon maybe cleared? The car sits quite often, we don't drive it at all (unreg any more) as of the 9th, I drove it that day pretty damn hard to keep it happy..

I think imma try a ghetto comp test tomaro see how she goes, I just got my kitty today so time to give it some attention =]

smoke wasnt comming out bad when it was shaking, it was when I turned it off it started floating out.. =x smelled SOO bad, even the engine bay.

Also.. I don't know what this is but RIGHT inbetween the exhaust pipes under the gas tank theres spots of black on the ground, wet. Might just be since its been rain/foggy but we got a over hang all the ground is dry around the big spot.

I'll keep watching it over time.

Yeah dude, if you let that **** sit there, you definately have some carbon lock....make sure you try to start it everyday or every other day, wait for it to warm up, and then rev it to get all of the **** out of there, or drive it around and make sure to gun it and get the **** out of there and it'll be fine..well...until the next day...lol...it's a vicious circle
