bad connections. have ou checked to make sure you are getting spark. have you checked to see if it is flooding. did you talk nice to it or yell at it. does hard starting run in its family?

well it could be flooding because it kinda smells like gas when it cranks. i think there is spark because it is turning over...if i wanted to adjust the fuel crap to make it stop flooding what would i have to do...or is it a computer issue that the dealer has to deal with

re

Whenever my old 87 se flooded, it would have a different sound when it cranked. It would almost sound like it wasn't quite catching, if that makes any sense. The rotors would be spinning but it would have a totally different sound, and that's how I knew that it was flooded.

When it was flooded, I would just hook it up to a running car and keep cranking it until I burnt out all of the extra gas. It would smoke like a mug for about a minute.

so just crank for a while hooked to another car and that should take care of the flooding problem? or is it gonna happen over and over. and also could it be anything else than that?

Never take your car to mazda. They know less than you do about these cars usually.

Run a search for flooding. Id type out the procedure, but to tell you the truth Ive typed it like 10 times in the past 3 days.
