Unhappy Car Won't Start!!!!!!!!!

Hey Guys! I just got a 87 RX-7 with 195k on the body and 60k on the engne and tranny. I bougt the car a week ago and started it up fine on my 1st try. I drove it home and everything was fine. I wake up the next morning and try to start it when i come home for lunch, It starts up on my 2nd try. Then i get home from school and tru to start it to take it around town but it wouldn't start!!! I charged the batt, checked the plugs, made sure there was gas, just in case the guage wasn't accurate, and tryed again but no luck. This is my 2nd mazda but 1st rx-7 and im not sure if the engine is flooded but i did the unflooding procedure anyways. The car still wont start!! I had a Senior trip to FL thurs to sun so i couldnt work on the car but i got home mon and tryed to start her up. the 1st time nothing but the 2nd time it started and ran for 8 sec. and then died. I went online to see what might be wrong but the only thing i found was that it might be flooded. I tryed unflooding it again and again, like 12 times. only once did it start but then died again in a few sec. Tomarrow im guna try the more complicated way to unflood an engine, when you take out the plugs and turn it over, hopefully it will start but i dunno. Does anyone have any idea whats goin on? or will the more complex unflooding procdue sound like it should work? THANKS for putting up wit my inexperence SRY!
