Car Wont Start !!!
i own a 87 rx7 turbo, when the engine is cold, the car cranks over and starts up nicely
When the engine is warm it will crank over nicely still.. but not start up, the tacho needle doesnt move at all, meaning there is probably no spark, im guessing it may be the ignition box thing under the coil near the headlight? any ideas?
there is power to all the lights in the car, and i have checked all the fuses inside and in the engine compartment and they all fine
please help

weak starter..car gets hot ..metal expands ..starter can't turn the "extra load"..that's my guess..tach is run off the trailing..reads spark..try new wires.plugs
Huh? A warm engine is MUCH easier to crank then a cold one. The difference between the compression of a cold motor vs a warm one is well documented.
What ignition box is that? There is only the 2 coils (technically 3). Instead of relying on your TACH to provide you clues as to why your car might not start, I would get a spark checker out there. Sounds more like a hot start problem to me.

You can see the words I used to serach from the last 2 in the links "start, warm" and "hot start". Hope those help. I'm sure theres alot more threads that can help you.
Most of what I read said it's a flooding issue. Not sure if that applies, just a quick summary.

When the car is cold, when i go to crank it, the tacho arrow will bounce up and down and then the car will start up.. but, when the car is warm, the tacho needle doesnt move at all when the car is cranked, although it still does crank over, the car wont actually start up.
I have checked the wires from the crank angle sensor to the ignition box under the black set of coils which has leads running to the spark plugs.. when the problem occurs, there is no pulse in the wire from the crank angle sensor to the ignition box. but there is power from the ignition box to the coilpack above it. what does this mean?.. would my crank angle sensor be broken? the car only has 65 000kms on it.
I forgot to also mention, when this problem occurs i normally push start the car.
