car won't start... :(

hi all .. My new swap don't start. SO I did some test.

I put a 86 motor in a 88 car

here we go :

1- I check to see if i get spark... i get spark. both on leading and trailing.

2- I check for fuel pump. and they work.

3- i put my finger on the leading plug hole to see if i have some gas in the chamber .. my finger was dry. so i thing i don't have any gas going in the chamber.

4- I check to see if he resistor pack is in the spec and i got 6.5 ohms on the 4 resistor.

5- I check on the injector plug to see if i have the 12V and i get it.

6- i check on the pressure sensor to see if i have the 5V on the br/with wire and i got it.

7- I remove the big bolt at the end of the upper rail to see if i have some fuel in the upper fuel rail and i some gas in this rail.

8- I double and tripple check to see if i have all the groud in the right place and all is ok.

when I jump the yellow plug on the passenger truct to see if i ear the pump .. i hear the pump verry well.

so now i wonder what can i check to see where could be the problem.

I know that the motor run very well befor getting it from the 86 car. it run verry good.

my ecu is a N327 and in the 86 is the N326.. but this shouldn't be the problem.

thanx

You were able to take of the pressure regulator without spraying gas everywhere? You must not have primed the fuel system. Do a search to find out exactly how, I don't remember off the top of my head.

did you check the CAS position/ timing marks (assuming you took it out for the engine swap)...are the impedances of the '86 injectors/ harness the same as the '88?
