Car won't start!

Car won't start!

Ok every body,

ok after being in the garage for awhile, i decided to fire her up, with a recharged battery!
turn the key on click up: OK!
next click: the electrics start up
next click: fuel pump starts buzzing away
final ignition click: A CLICK and everything dies, fule acc, everything!

Disconnect the battery and reconnect it again, same thing happens. Anmyone know what's going on here?

Possibly your batter is dead? check your main fuses too.

24 hours ago I got my 88 Turbo 2, And I have already learned, fuel pump cut off switches should be seeked out before trying to start the car.....I think I gave my starter a work out trying to crank that bitch over....

Look under your dash for a silver switch, down is fuel cut and up in fuel on......Maybe that will help you....

This is usually for leaky fuel injectors not but I would think he must know if he has a fuel cut-off switch unless he never looked for it good info though.

i have a little push button under the driver side foot well.
don't think it's for fuel cut, i have a fuel cut switch and i'm definately sure it's on, i can hear it buzzing.

the thing is the starter won't crank
won't even turn over once!

Possibly need a new starter? Though like 87RX7guy said, check your fuses.

main fuses OK
battery charged, in the mains charger over night

how do you give your starter a work out? push start?

Check the Positive (+) Cable Remenber there are Two Need to Ckeck the skiny on there is a connector and it gets corroded that happened to me i cut it and spliced together and it fix the problem.
