car won't start
okay i first thought that the car was flooded and it may be. But today i took out the spark plugs and they were soaked in gas so i bought new ones. I had charged the battery so to make sure it had full power. now here is the deal when i crank it sounds like the batter is real weak and it's cranking pretty slow. i know the battery is good cuz i tryed it in my friends car and it worked fine. i tryed hooking it up to jumper cables with my buddies car running and tryed starting also. same thing it's like it's not getting enough power to start the car. and before i had tryed the egi fuse trick to get it started and that didn't work. it's been sitting for a while when i tryed that trick then today several weeks later i did it again and it's acting like it's not getting any power from the battery. What is wrong with my car!? Starter? alternator?? what?????? someone please help me!
sorry for the long message, but someone please help me out! thanks so much in advance!!!

dont take it to mazda.... got to a generator place... like a shop whom specializes in alternators, batteries, and misc. electricalwork... better and cheaper in my opinion..

You may think it is electrical but it still could be a flooding issue. I know that every time my car has been flooded it would crank over very slow. I would suggest that before you spend any more money you should try to de-flood it. First make sure that battery is fully charged, then take out all four spark plugs and position your spark plug wires in a safe position away from eachother and any metal parts. Then disconnect your fuel pump at the rear of your car under the carpet. Next, jam some towells around the open spark plug holes to catch fuel that will be sprayed out. Once you've done all of this, get in your car and crank her over for about 15 seconds, give the starter a break, then do it for another 15 seconds or so. This should have shot out any excess fuel. Put your spark plugs back in and connect your fuel pump and try to start it up. If it was flooded, it will slowly begin to start and spit out a lot of white smoke. If it doesn't start, then it could still be flooded and you can try this again (I know I have had to do it more than once to get my car to start before), or it may be another problem. I also suggest that if you try this, you should have someone helping you just in case a fire would start, chances are slim, but it could happen.
