I have an 87 TII, I just got my turbo rebuilt a little over a week ago and I just put the amount of miles the rebuilder said before I start runing full boost.

while out driving the car was running great then it just started chuging and then the throttle went out. My gas gauge is a bit flaky and I was sure I ran out of gas. So I put a gallon in in order to make it over to the gas station. But the all the way over to the station I was backfireing the whole way and could not accelerate and the car could not stay at idle.

So I am guessing that it is a fuel thing, I have an f-con and gcc and was wondering if I might need to reset them. I unpluged my battery in hopes that that would do it. But that did nothing.

I just want to make sure that it is not a fuel thing before I call the turbo rebuilder.

Any suggestions?
