car wont idle, OR START. HELP!!

ok, i just ported my intake manifold and removed the 5th adn 6th port sleeves. i removed the actuators and put a block off plate on the acv. after i put all the parts and hoses and stuff back together, the engine started first try, but did not idle. then about 5 minits later, the car would not start. i would crank the engine, and it would fire a little but then quit right away... is this because it is simply flooded, or is it somthing else....

Hmm did you put some sort of gasket material on the block off plate? and did u make sure the gasket on the intake manifold is good? it sounds like you have a big vacuum leak somewhere id check those first.

Did you ensure the entire intake is intact? AFM plugged in? Would the car just not idle? Or would it just not run period?

Unflood the car by removing the EGI fuse in the fuse box under the hood. When you get it running find the vacuum leak.

ok, i think i figured it out... it was my fault... i did not block off these 2 bolt holes on the left and right side of the LIM. they were supposed to let in backpressure from the exhst to open the 5th and 6th. but since i dont have those sleeves in any more, and a free flowin exhst, then they need to be blocked off.
thanks for tha help!
