car won't idle, please help.
I was driving home about two nights ago, and i was at a stop light, and all the sudden my car stopped idling, and shut down. I started it back up and tried it again, once again, it failed. I drove it home, kept on the gas, and checked for vac leaks. I figured a hose just popped off, and after a check through, I found nothing. I had to leave for colorado the next morning so i couldnt mess with it.
I was owndering if anyone else had an idea as to what this could be. thanks.

vacuum leak? problem related to BAC valve? etc etc. There are quite a few things to check.
But don't start turning screws all over the place.
Do some basic checking and diagnose the problem properly otherwise you might create more problems than you started with.
bac valve
idle problems

check for a vac leak......popping the hood and poking around doesn't really cut the mustard when it comes to hunting vac leaks..

more than likely you have a vac leak or a mis adjusted/unfunctional Throttle position sensor
