VA Car Will not start Need help asap!!!

Ok so in the process of changing the starter I touched one of the wires to the body by accident. After I got the starter init would turn over but won't start. I'm getting a lot of back firing and it seems like it wants to start but won't. I'm thinking I could have damaged the coils or something of that nature but I'm not sure. So if you have any input it would be helpful. Thank you

Check ALL fuses. The ones in the interior fuse box and the ones in the engine bay fuse box.

I've done that already, I've pulled the pump fuse and replaced repeatedly.

Okay. Well, you only gave so much information in the first post. It helps to have details.

Does the car still turnover, but not start or something differently?

Probably flooded. If you had some starter fluid you could spray 1 to 2 seconds of fluid at most into the air intake duct and w/the fuel pump disengaged try to start the car. If it starts briefly and dies out then repeat one more time then reconnect the fuel pump and try to start the car normally.

You need to disengage the fuel pump or it floods more, assuming its flooded in the first place.

Triple check your egi fuse under your hood. Dont just look and say its okay. I did the exact same as you. I went over the fuses about 1000 times but never actually looked. Slowed down, saw the egi fuse was blown, swapped and she started...

Just saying maybe its your egi fuse?
