It sounds like you have leaky fuel injectors. I would try to do the old de-flooding procedure, this means pull the EGI fuse and crank on it to clear it out. Take out the plugs and see if they are dirty with fuel, and clean them up if you need to. The best thing you can do if you don't know when the injectors were cleaned/balanced is to remove them and send them out to get cleaned and balanced back to OEM specs. It will remove the chance of leaky injectors for years to come. Also replace o-rings on the injectors and also all of the air bleed sockets (your there so why not do it).
