car turns on and dies

my car turns on and dies. it was running fine all day and i dont know what happened. but something i do notice is that my stock boost gauge doesnt move when trying to turn the car on and befroe it did. coud it be a aulty boost pressure sensor?

the fact that my boost pressure sensor doesnt move while giving ignition or even while on for the split second doesnt ring a bell?

the car will turn off even if i give it gas! it will rev for a second the revs go back then regardless if my foot is to the floor it dies. it does not respond to my throttle controls.

check all your turbo vaccum lines. going to the throttle body and to the boost sensor. and the hard line coming off the wastgate... i think. and hell even the manifold. and mine was starting and dieing and it was from a cracked primary fuel injector but my boost gauge was registering... so im not sure what your prob could be

You could also have an intercooler hose that came off. That will happen if a hose popped off, popped, or is leaking. Check that too.

i went to my mechanic and he said that it could be my main relay because my speedometer light also turns off. i went to crank it this morning and it starts fine! WTF?

maybe check on your Mass Airflow Sensor, they will cause the car to start then emidiately die if they are unhooked or burned out

how many volts is the mass airflow sensor supposed to read? or ho do i check it?

check to see if your MAFS is bad and check all vacume lines

if it does the same thing when unplugged the AFM/MAFS is bad/faulty
