Car tracking unevenly?
Ok, so a while back I was having problems with the rear end feeling loose and unpredictable... i figured that with 85k on the car the shocks could use replacement and the springs were definately sagging (unevenly as well)
so i replaced the shocks with kyb agx shocks, and went with eibach pro springs (the turbo ones), all this went on my 91 vert
now the back end feels much more stable, doesnt feel like it wants to jump out all the time... however when i am on the highway, at any speeds over 60 or so, it feels like the car is riding down the road with the back tires not in line with the front tires.
Its like the car is moving straight but i have to keep the wheel slightly turned and it feels like the car isnt in line with the path that its taking down the road.
The car had a full alignment done after the shocks and springs went in, and the alignment is fine driving at slower speeds.
If anyone has any idea what might be causing the car to feel like its not going down the road straight please let me know... thanks
(i have new front and rear bushings sitting in a box, as well as the dtss elim bushings... havent had time to install them yet... so that might be the problem... but as far as the bushings looked, they all seemed ok... no cracking or anything out of the ordinary)

well it sounds like it is dog stepping, where the wheels are all purpendicular to eachother but not parallel. it could be as simple as the rear not having enough toe, or the bushings being bad. i would suggest taking it to a different shop that pulls frames and have them check and re-align it. i hope this helps. grass roots motorsports magazine just did a whole article on all of the alignment problems in the newest issue. try to pick that up($4.99) it will better help diagnose this problem, as well as optomise your suspension.

ok simple way to find out if its dog trackin. Drive throught a puddle onto a dry area. Drive for 20 feet or so. Stop, get out. Look at the tracks, do the wheels line up. If not you have a problem.
Time to empty the wallet
Hope its just an aligment issue.

Above post a great way to check tracking. Measure from center of front wheel to center on rear wheel on each side to be sure both correct. I doubt there is any suspension problem or the shop would have picked it up. Do check the DTSS bushings for wear, as they will have an adverse affect on driveability.
