Car struggles to pass 4k rpm at WOT, after a night at the dragstrip!
ok so i went to the dragstrip with my 1988 GXL(Na) but my last run when i got to 2nd gear it dropped to like 3400rpm real fast, then it wouldnt go passed 4k, then on the way home i could get it to go up to almost 5k but it feal like i was slowing down more then accelerating, and its in all gears, but in neutral i rev fine... anyone got any suggestions?

i went out just now i and tested it again, it will acualy rev all the way to 6.5k no problems
but when i am driving it feals like the clutch is being pushed in a little bit, does that sound like it, is it maybe the clutch, the clutch is 6k miles old, but i was ruff on it as the strip, is there an adjustment i can tweek if i just burned like 1/16 of any inch off? thanks

bad signal to your secondary injectors.
-check injector clip on secondary injectors(the ones you can see on the manifold)
-bad resistor pack(86-88)
-bad wiring harness(broken contact from injector to resistor pack to computer)
-bad secondary injectors
-bad computer(not likely)
Its most likely the injector clip, probably lost metal retainer clip and worked its way off, and is sometimes making contact.
