Car still wont start. My diagnosis! What am I doing wrong?

Ok I have an 87T11...

It has a fuel pressure regulator with a gauge. I see 20-30psi...

I saw sparks out of coil wire against block..

I took out plugs and were clean.

I cranked engine with plugs out. No flooding and very little gas like almost nothing but air coming out with a fuel smell although the fuel pressure gauge reads 30psi ? WTF.

I cranked it over again and it sounded like it caught for a milisecond wow im excited. Anyways what else should I do to check stuff?

SHOULD I
....................Crank car with primary fuel rail injectors out?
....................lift on OMP rod thats disconnected and then crank? THeory is that mabey car wont start as a safety.

....................More fuel? Plugs ? Mugs ?

what are you seeing for compression???

The MOP has nothing to do with starting (other than injecting oil if the trottle is pressed)

Um

Compression is low in rear rotor. Im sure its high enoughf to start thou. Even at 60psi in the front rotor the car should still start because I tested and started one with that before.

unless its lower than that. But dam I heard the car without the exaust on. It makes loud suction noises and all the seals are intact and front ones are springy rear are allitle tighter.

WIll push starting it work? Im thinking of tying a rope to it and using my geo down a hill to start it.

Everytime I think its flooded I take spark plugs out and crank but amazingly no fuel comes out lol. But then again I did hear the car catch this morning and pop from the exaust.

If you have a helper, get him/ her to crank it over so you can listen for the injectors clicking (primaries, on the bottom)...sometimes you can't hear 'em even on a good day, so keep that in mind...if the car's been sitting for a while (months), could be injectors...Like Icemark said, check compression first, once you know if that's good or not we can continue troubleshooting from there...

ok before the compression how about I take the primary injectors off and then crank the car ? I should see fuel come out then?

man, you gotta take so much stuff outta the way to get to the primaries, I wouldn't do it, but that's me...another thing to try, if you can get to it, is to put your finger on the pulsation damper on the front of the primary rail and feel for the "pulses" generated by the injectors...no pulses, they might not be opening (I've never done this myself, I think I read it in the Haynes manual)...I have been able to get a long screwdriver down to the forward primary to listen for the solenoid clicking (put the handle to your ear), I didn't even want to attempt getting to the back one, though

60 PSI is way way under the normal ability to start.. 80 psi is considered the min to start.
