Car Stereo Install

Ok folks, I need some help finding a Stereo Install Kit for The UBER stereo that came in my 91. It is the one with the AE passenger select and is about 2 DIN I believe. I see a kit on crutchfield and wonder if anyone purchased this or recently purchased a kit that they were happy with. I plan on installing my aftermarket gauges either below or above the stereo so I need to leave a din open for that. If anyone has any help to offer let me know, Thank you.

The radio openings on a FC are almost 2.5 DIN, not double DIN.

So if you are installing a single DIN unit, then you should have plenty of room for gauges, but will have to build a custom panel to mount them, or tweak an existing metra Mazda FC mounting kit (which is really a POS any way and you should be using the factory ISO backets and building your own trim panel).

I was kinda liking the crutchfield free install kit with a new stereo and it offers free power antenna hookup and the wiring harness also, does anyone have any experience with the crutchfield install kit?

and I have a mounting system for the gauges, I just need to know what to alter to get it installed and working once I get the indash kit put in.

Icemark I think your right, the gauge mounting bracket I have will work great with a little fashioning. I can attach it to the original monting bracket for the stereo and than I can put a stereo right on top of it and I just need some sheet metal that I can spot solder in place to the gauge mount to fill the holes that will be left by it.
