Car starts, then dies...

Car starts, then dies...

Whenever i start my car now, it revs up to 3k, stays there for a sec, then dies.....sumtimes itll take a while to crank also... but if i give it a little gas, itll have no probem

Think its my spark plugs... what u guys think?

First, make sure the electrical plug into the AFM is connected and properly seated. If that's not your problem, the it sounds like you have a monster vacuum leak. Check the obvious places like the individual vacuum lines. They get brittle and can crack or just work loose over time and heat. Also the gaskets and seals between the throttle body and the UIM and the UIM to the LIM. Mine did what yours is doing and it turned out to be a worn out LIM gasket that was sucking in unmetered air.
