Car Starts! But Still got that Plug.......

Car Starts! But Still got that Plug.......

okay a while back i posted a problem with my car not starting, now i took it to the rotaery specialist and my afm was burnt, he put in a new one, and it starts, but the it idles a little rough, i still have my famous plug problem ( https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...ght=spark+plug ) do you think this can affect the performnce of the car, because i don't have enough money to rethread it right now, what d you reommend.

Well the spark plug hole Needs to be rethreaded. It will lower compression with the spark plug being farther out. A lesson you have learned, always handtighten anything, then if you have to; use an aircompressor/impact gun. They always kill threads/studs/nuts etc.
What spark plug is this anyhow? I'm thinking its a leading plug... Make sure that there are no intake leaks near your AFM, an intake leak will cause a bad idle, make sure the afm is securely plugged in too.

Leading plugs are a lot more important and will cause bigger problems if messed up.
