car stalls after high RPM use
car stalls after high RPM use
Hey, I got into a jam today I was going about 6 k going down hill, so I pushed in my clutch and used the brakes to slow me down. On the way down the hill the RPMs dropped off to zero. (next time I'll drop the clutch into third to restart it)
After I had come to a stop, I simpily could not get the engine started again. I rolled over to the side of the road, waited a few minutes, still wouldnt start, I so I removed the negative battery cable and reconnected it and it started.
I was able to recreate the same situation in my garage, I reved it up to 6K and then pushed the clutch in ( it was allready in neutral) and when the RPMs came back down the engine ran really bad and then died.
I think the thing is flooding at high RPMs, what do you guys think?

Ok I went and checked the ECU codes and I have had a water thermosensor error for some time now, but I got a new code. It was a pressure sensor error. Now what could cause this to come on all of a sudden? What adverse effects would this error be causeing?
