car smokes too much
My car was flooded and i did the old ATF in the leading spark plug holes, and changed the spark plugs. when the problem was fixed i change my oil from 10w-30 to 20w-50 i didnt change the oil filter. and now the car is burning oil abnormaly (a **** load of smoke) the smoke smells like burn oil, but the car has about 50k miles and it runs very strong so i dont think that the apex seal are fucked. what do you guys think might be the cause?

hitachi tubos use a t3/t4 rebuild kit. just google it there are a couple site that sell them. As for the smoke, have u looked at the exhaust side of turbo? Could be rear seal, how much oil quart an hour? or just a bit, i my self run premix so i dont know how much the omp squirts in there.

also might be a blown oil control o ring. I also have the same problem as you. I swapped the turbo with another turbo and it still smoked. No oil residue on the turbine side of the turbo nor the downpipe. I also checked the crankcase ventilation and it still smoked. So im leaning towards a rebuild in the future
You can try removing the oil filler cap and starting the car, and see if that stops the smoke. If it stops smoking then it has something to do with your pcv.
