Car smokes after emmisions removal
Ok i just put my motor back in. i did remove emmissons while it was out. i just recieved my oil catch can but havnt put it on yet. when i rev up the motor it smokes a lot. didnt do it prior to removal. would that be caused from no oil catch can attached? or just hasnt been driven for a while. smoke comes out exhaust. i did put some oil in the housing before cranking but figured it would burn off fairly quick or smoke all the time. thanks

did you plug up the oil tube?..and center iron vent tubes?
That would make the engine smoke. The oil tube and center iron should be able to vent,or breathe,so the Oil pressure doesn't build up.

No I just pulled motor. Cleaned it up. Painted engine bay and removed emissions. I did receive my oils catch can last night so hopefully I have time tonight or 2marrow to put it on. Hopefully that will fix my smoke and idle problem

You still need to have a working purge system, not just the lines vented to atmosphere or a catch can.
I've said it a billion times but:
-top nipple on filler neck through a PCV valve to intake vacuum
-lower nipple to catch can through a nice thick hose
-catch can vent to a small filter (if standalone) or nipple in the TID/intake tube after the AFM (if stock ECU)

ok well i hooked up catch can. basically went from lower nipple on iron to catch can, and from catch can to TID. just gota get my idle problem figured out and i will finally be able to drive the car.
