car shuts down in hard turning,

it seems like my car has an auto shut down if i take a turn to fast, its a 1991 vert but has had an auto to manual conversion done to it. any idea if theres a sensor for tracton or sumthing??

I had this happen when taking hard left turns. Replacing a bad fuel pickup sock fixed it right up.
