Car is running really rich HELP

Hey so my new 10th AE isnt running right. I bought it with these problems, so im trying to sort them out. The car will start, but wont stay running because its getting way to much fuel. It has an upraded fuel pump, but no FPR, could this cause the problem? It also has upgraded injectors suposidly, but i dont know the color of them. The BOV is not recirculated, but it is stock, so it could be leaking at idle. Also, its not using any kind of management other than the stock ECU. Does anybody know how i should fix this thing? Thanks

Start by hunting down Vac leaks.. Regulator could be an issue... Have you checked compression #'s? Are the injectors (upgraded) the propper impedance? Is the wiring going to the injectors correct?

I believe that the wiring is correct. Ill have to use the FSM to figure it out. Im also in the process of searching for vacuum leaks. The car has a vented to atmosphere stock BOV so it could be blowing of metered air. Im going to connect it, and check the fuel pressure tomorrow. What should the fuel pressure be? Will i need an aftermarket FPR inorder to run an upgraded pump? Thanks for your help.

Alright, I got it running today. I put clamps on the intercooler, replaced the hose going to the BOV, pulled the cork out of the intake and put the bov back where it should be, along with replacing the hose on the top of the intake mani that goes to the back of the intercooler, because it had a split almost all the way around it. Also, the plug wires and plugs were covered in gas so i replaced them. The car starts and will run, but only for a few seconds before it shuts off. If you wait a second it will fire up again, but die a few seconds later. I pulled off the intercooler, and the injectors are pinkish red, and i dont think the pump is really upgraded either. The gas is low, and i think its about a year old. When it started running, it was smoking and smelled like bad gas. Do you think the only problem is the gas? Do you guys know what could be wrong? Thanks for the help.

you don't need a fpr to run an aftermarket pump, i have a supra pump on stock fuel system with no problems

I dunno, but I'd sure try putting in a five gallon can of fresh Iraqi gasoline in there. ;^)
