hey im in a hurry cause I leave for college tomorrow and my car is finally finished... anyway I got a rebuild with no port jobs from kevin landers a few months ago, then I had to track down someone who would do a rotary engine swap here in maine. Finally it is done and I am going to go pick it up asap. What things should we double check before I take off for the 40 mile drive back to my house? He said he started it and it only smoked for about 5min then seemed to run perfectly. He said the turbo began to glow a little bit though after he drove it around for a few min, which was odd since he wasnt boosting it at all, maybe 1-2psi, as the wastegate is wired open and he was babying it. is this a deathly symptom that should be looked at before I drive it back? When the swap was done we put in an act stage 2 clutch and 4 new stock injectors. Anyway any wisdom is welcome, as i need to go pick it up within an hour or so

 

The turbo glowing is a BIG problem. Check the timing!! Could be off!
