hows it going? im a noob, and running in a problem. first off its my dads car, it an 88turboII. i usedto have an 86 gxl but i got rid of it when i blew the engine up. heres the problem, the car is hard to start when its cold, i think the problem is the sub-zero start assist sytem. right? second, its idling rough and i smell gas in the exhaust, im pretty sure it the fuel pressure regulator. please correct me if im wrong? third, the car is also having problems starting back up after it reaches operating temperature, im also leaning towards the fueal pressure regulator and the thermo sensor, reason why is because the gage is not reading the propper temp. did any of you guys ran into this problem in the past? better yet, anyone lives in philly? i dont know anybody that owns an rx7 here, and none of my friends ever worked on a rotary theres just so many sensors! any help would be appreciated!

 

Probably flooding, could be a leaky injector.
