car no start 60+ miles from home, please help

hello,
I am really bummin. My wifes 87 GXL is down right now because I decided to swap the s4 intake and fuel system to s5. I am almost done with that (need help wiring up RPM activated swich, I have another thread on that) anyway, today I drove my 87 gxl to work and decided to clean out the intake with some Sea-Foam (really good stuff) I unplugged the vac line that goes to the boost sensor and over a period of about 8 minutes I sucked in about 5 oz. I never let if bog down and die or go above 4000 rpm. It made plenty of smoke like it should. After it stopped smoking and idled good, I shut if off and decided to unhook the neg battery cable and press the brake pedal to reset the computer. I waited about 10 minutes then tried to fire her up. No start. I then noticed that the alarm light was flashing (siren not hooked up), I dont have a remote (bought the car w/o it), so I ended up unhooking the alarm because it obviously was armed on on. It's a viper 300. I then tried to start the car and noticed that none of the gauges were functioning. No battery signal, oil, etc...I then noticed that the heater blower wont come on or the power windows. The parking and headlamps work and the sunroof, but not the power window. Please help me get goin in the right direction. I have to go to work A.M. and my wife works until 11:00 pm and I have to be at work 60 miles away at 8:00 am and leave early to go the doctor (pieces of rx7 in my eye got infected.....blah, blah, blah.....thanx

did u try the main relay
fuses under dash, and main fuses under the hood
unhooking the battery could have had a voltage spike when it was reconnected and blown some fuses
thats the first thing I would do

I checked every fuse, both inside the car and in the engine bay. The only one that blew was the power ant. fuse.
thanx

1. Sucking any fluid in through the boost sensor vac line is pointless. That vacuum port leads only to the front rotor.

2. Measure for 12V at the ignition switch (black wire). If it's not there, then your main 80A fuse is blown or intermittant.

ok, thanx, the more I think about it, I don't recall the fuel pump turning on...making a noise or anything...car turns over like it wants to start, but no fuel...but the guages don't budge. Aaron Cake did I do damage by sucking from there? I think that this is non-related to the no start ( I hope you agree). thanx again.

I doubt you did any damage (other then seriously fouling the spark plug). Personally, I don't put ANY crap like Sea Foam through my engine. Several things go into an engine...air, fuel, oil, coolant...no additives.

Good that the engine rotates...No gauges could indicate many problems...You need to TEST EVERY fuse.

is the 80 amp fuse held in differently? all the others come right out. I want to pull the 80 amp out of the s4 to s5 conversion car and take it to the other car. I can't drive the conversion car because for some unknown reason the parking lights don't work now. Headlights do, no tail or park (ughhhhhh.......I wont lose faith in these cars, I wont lose faith in these cars....) I know new light switch. and it's dark now.
bad day.

the 80A fuse is screwed in. You gotta take the plastic sides off the harness to get at them.

cool, figured out the 80 amp fuse deal, thank you....car is back home, runs great. The cheesy car alarm install done prior to me owning it was incorrectly hooked up to the 12v wire.....so I took out the alarm and hooked up ign wire properly and braaapbraaaapppppp.....thanx everyone.
