Car isn't warming up? + stuttering at high rpms

I just bought my second T2 and after 3 long days of cleaning it up I still have a few problems.

Rough idle -Local rotary guy said it's probobally a vacuum line, so I'll have to check up on that. Could it also be due to my injectors and injector clips? They look like complete garbage. The clips are broken and gnarled and the injectors look like they've seen better days too. I'm going to send the injectors off to get calibrated, tested, cleaned, etc.

Stuttering at various rpms. -I don't think I've put my foot completely down on the throttle yet, but it has the usual 3800rpm stutter, which I'm going to try and fix by grounding the hell out of everything. Then it has an even worse stutter around 5k or 6k (not set rpm it happens at) where the car just sputters or stutters and then gets back on to accelerating. I don't know if it's a lean spot where the injectors are messing up or what..

Another thing I noticed was that the temp gauge only goes about 1/6th-1/8th above cold. Even with the 90 degree day we just had (I was never on the throttle hard though). So I decided to change the thermostat, but still the guage doesn't go up past that. The engine feels like it's getting warm and everything...Could it be the coolant temp sensor is bad?

Vehicle:

1988 TII, 10th anny
-I own 2 now

The motor looks like a remanor something newer than bone stock since my odometer says 142k. 110 compression on all rotor faces, no internal coolant leaking.
Mods:
turbo xs mbc (turned all the way down to 5 psi)
FCD
downpipe
K&N intake filter
turbo xs bov...or an ebay clone? vented

I just found my stock bypass valve and am going to put that back on since I'm getting the car ready to pass CA smog. (Hopefully they will let me slide with a downpipe) and a stock airbox.

Can anyone help me with these problems? My solutions I was going to try were getting the injectors fixed and putting new clips in...other than that I'm lost

wonder if it could have anything to do with water thermo sensor being bad? I know that can cause the 3800rpm hessitation but I'm not exactly sure if that could cause any strange readings.......actually no it couldn't because the thermo sensor is just something the ecu uses. Maybe your gauge and/or water temp sensor are bad causing inacurate readings. Even if you have no thermostat your rotary is going to warm up I mean we all know how hot a rotary gets, unless you found the secret to keeping a rotary really cool while driving

Sending the injectors off tomorrow and hopefully heading to the junkyard to look for that sensor...but anyone else have any ideas?

-Also where can I buy 4 injector clips that I can just solder in place of the old ones?

Just discovered that two injectors were high imp, and 2 were low...could that be a cause to the problem of the high rpm stutter?

can cause high RPM fuel issues and really can multiply a 3800 RPM stutter.
