car is good then has no power and exhaust sounds dif.
Hi, My freinds car is 86, we were driving in it the other day and all of a sudden it has no power and the exhaust sounds way diffrent, im thinking that somthings wrong with a apex seal

check the ignition. i had my leading plugs stop firing. it woudl still accelerate, but very slowly. and the engine had a "hollow" sounds. turns out it was a wire that was grounding.
