Car flooded Bad , now it smokes... (Blue)
Ok as most of you know I was having some wiring issues with the "Red Dragon", I sorted them all out and the car starts and drives great now. BUT at idle and wot the car just lets out a haze (thin) of blue smoke. It never did this before. I checked my oil, due to all the severe flooding problems and it is thin and smells like gas for sure. I am assuming that the thinned oil is seeping past the oil seals/side seals? Can anyone confirm my thoery? At this point the car is about to be my daily driver and I need to prepare if I need to look at having a rebuild in the near future... I just can't see the seals shitting out after only a few thousand miles on this rebuild...
I am going to change the oil again this week and see what happens... But thought a little insight might be nice/reasuarnce...

Trev..
Do what I did to my '82 when it flooded horribly.
-Drain the pre-mix you just made out of the engine.
-Put in one quart of 'motor honey'. Sometimes call Stop Smoke.
-Top off with 20w50.
-Drive around, put at least 150 miles on it and try to drive it everyday.
-Change the oil again and replace the filter.
When I got the 82, it had sat for over a year. I rebuilt the carb, got the float level wrong and flooded it worse than you can believe!!!
Did this and it NEVER smoked again!!
Good luck man!! You should come out Saturday!!
