Car doesn't want to start.

I've been running my car all day without a hitch until about 10:15 at night. I turned off my car at a parking lot and when i tried to turn it back on all it did was "click click click click click click click click click click" it was cranking the motor tho. The motor was trying to start but nothing would happen. I could see the clutch fan moving for a second but the engine would not start. When I stopped trying to turn the key then smoke would pour in through my vents inside the car then stop shortly after. Also, I saw that smoke seemed to be coming out from somewhere underneath where the brake fluid reservoir is. Anyone know what could possibly be going on.

Sounds like your Solenoid is Stuck. The area where you are Roughly talking about is where the starter is(driver's side of engine)..Sometimes if you get a Hammer and go under and Tap the starter it will fix it(for now)..check the wiring to the starter too, while you are there...sort of Sounds like your Starter is going on you,and will need to be replaced.

really?? the starter? I just replaced it like last year. I wonder why my starter would go again. I didn't have smoking happening last time it went tho.

You might have been cranking it to long during your cold starts...this puts alot of strain on the starter. It isnt recommended that you turn over your car for more then 5 secs. When you do, your starter becomes hot and fries itself. You need to repplace the starter
