Car Dies Why Help please!!!

ok so i just bought an '87 RX7 and i was driving it today and it died right on the road as i was stopped in the middle of the street at a red light what could this be??? my revs dropped past 500 and died. then it wouldnt start i had to push start it. help me out please!!!

Open the air bypass screw on top of the throttle body (NA), or on the BAC valve (turbo).

You can also adjust the variable resistor.

See the FSM or a Haynes manual for information on doing this properly.
