car is dead after alternator replacement

I replaced the aalternator in my 87 and now anything that requires the ignition on doesn't work. The battery has good power, the lights work, but the starter will not turn, the radio windows and sunroof don't work. Does anyone have a clue what could be the problem?

Thank you

Victor S.

Check the fuse links by the battery, bet you poped one of them...

Thanks for the help. It was the main fuse.
