Which car cover?
Several people recommended me to get a car cover to help with the dings in the Turbo II hood from falling objects. I was told a good thick cover would do the trick, problem is, I went around to all the shops and couldnt find one that was more than 'paper thin'. Anyone have any recommendations on what brand is nice and soft?

I have a few covers from covercraft. Two of the covers I have are for outdoor and one is for indoor. The outdoor covers are a lighter material while the indoor covers have a texture closer to a blanket. The indoor cover I am actually using outside right now on my 85 pontiac. The only problem I would say about using the indoor cover for outdoor use is when it rains the water does not run off the cover. It takes longer for it to dry, plus the paint will not breathe as well. Covercraft does carry different qualities of indoor and outdoor covers depending on what you are looking to spend. They have universal covers or custom covers. All three of my covers are custom covers and they fit my cars perfectly. Here is their website http://www.covercraft.com/
Covercraft probably would not recommend using the indoor cover for outside, but since you said you are trying to prevent dings on your hood I would go with one of their custom indoor covers for your car. I would make sure you ask for one of their indoor covers that has a thick material, but allows the paint to breathe.
