Ford escort EFan installation 88 se

Someone said i could use a Efan from a ford escort. i have 3 wires instead of 2 now and im not sure which wire does what. I have a blue, red and black has anyone done this before? Or could atleast tell me what the color wires mean.

just wire up the red and black. Test them on the battery terminals first. I think that the blue was asecondry input or something for when you turned on the a/c. red = power... black=ground in this case.

3 wire = 2 speed.

I have a taurus efan in my car. wired it up to spin on High when the temp switch tells it to.
