Referring back to my 2 most recent posts before this one, talking about my car not starting all the time and acting randomly with when it starts, all happening the night after I spent a few minutes with a wire hanger trying to get inside my car. Now that the door panel has been removed we immediately saw something out of place, pictured below. Highlighted with 'green" is the switch or terminal that is clearly not where it needs to be. Highlighted with 'red' is its proper place. 'Yellow' is a small button, covered with rubber and I believe this activates the alarm system. When this whole thing is in it's correct place the piece of metal 'blue' is pressed against the the small rubber button when the key is turned right, into the locking position, thus arming the alarm system (from the outside). Thinking any problem caused by the coat hanger is now fixed I am confused with why the car fails to start regularly and when it does start it will start multiple times only if the car remains parked and is not driven. Today, the car started for the first time since monday, the electric terminal/switch was not in place and hanging. A couple hours later i started it again, than turned it off, than connected the switch so it was not hanging and started AGAIN. It was this 3rd time that i took the car for a drive about 5 miles than came back home, turned off the car and than tried to start it 2 minutes later it and it would not start. When the car is given a push start (&dropping the clutch...) it starts about everytime sometimes 2 tries but always starts. This pattern with the car starting very often (not 100%) when it is not driven is the only one I have noticed.
