Can't roll down my window afte rinstalling new switch; searched and need help please.

Well.
I just hooked up my new driver's side widow switch and it rolled down 1/4th of the way and stopped.
My window is stuck now and I can't figure out why.
I hear the motor running when I try to roll it up or down.
I'm going to tear open my door panel tmrw and try to figure out what it could be,.
I've also got driver's side turn signal problems.
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...=1#post9809162 that is my thread about taht.
Think this might be a grounding problem ??
Any advice would be great.
Please! thanks!

If you hear the motor running, sounds like your window regulator took a crap. Nothing to do with the switch, again, if you hear the motor running as that indicates the switch is working fine.

I believe new regulators are sold w/motors. They cost $300 ea. If your regulator is indeed broken you have a choice of trying to repair the problem, buy a used one or go the route of the new one.

Well, I'm going to take the door panel off tmrw and inspect.
Maybe the railing needs greased or something?
If the regulator is bad it will be the last straw.
Right now I just can't afford this car, lol.
