Ok Im putting new springs on and cant get the bottom bolt off connecting the strut to the steering knuckle on the front drivers side strut. they put the damn thing in backwords so the head of the bolt hits the brake calipers and i cant get the brakes off to get more room. Ive tried a torch and everything and the brakes will not come off, any suggestions??

ok i figured it out, couldnt get pictures but ill describe it to help anyone else that has the problem. all i did was took a dremmel to the ridge on the head of the boot on the bottom off the hex cuz thats what was catching on the caliper, i guess they put that bolt on before they put the calipers on. easy fix and the bolt is still good

 

Air tools. Mine was rusted all to hell and an air gun (plus LOTS of liquid wrench and vigorous banging) pulled the entire front suspension out in virtually no time. I use a metrinch set which helps for those stupid rusted bolt heads... good luck!
