Can't get my car to run, oil smells of GAS??? Help PLZ

Ok I got the car from my sister it was in a barn for over two years. I have been trying to get it running, I changed the plugs, checked for spark, drained the old gas and put new gas in. I have spark, I am not sure about the fuel pump. I just took the oil dip stick out and the oil doesn't seem like oil it smells really harsh like gas, and is very liquidy not very thick at all. I am about to go buy an oil filter and 5 quarts of castrol 20w-50 oil and going to do an oil change.

Can anyone tell me why the oil would smell like gas and be broken down(so liquidy)???? I just got the car supposedly it was running before it was stored.

Anyone that can help me get this car running I would greatly appreciate it.

After the oil change you may as well get a new fuel filter. You may also have stuck open injectors as it had sat for that long. Good luck on getting her running again.

Thank you guys, I just got in I did the oil change I was going to change the fuel filter but the store I was at didn't have one in stock. I am going to make another post on here about how to free up the apex seals with atf. Thanks again for your input. I do hope to get her running asap.

whoa whoa whoa, search on how to unstick seals, atf is a bit harmful to the internal seals. Try MMO (Marvel Mystery Oil) or regular motor oil to rebuild compression. And for teh love of pete, keep it to one thread....im going to say it before others do.
