Ok, I need a 12V source that is safe to splice into for my gauges. I have them rigged up to the sensors and ground, just no power!!! Where do you guys suggest?

No one has gauges?? I really don't want to wire it into the cigarette lighter because I really don't want to screw with pulling the centor console...

yep Black and yellow is the main one, i think a Black with White stripe is also good, check your Haynes in the back, and follow some wires from the ignition and look at the color codes, that is what i did for my guages.

Well, I do have my feul cut wired into the black and white. I am installing a lighted switch into that today as well, so I might as well see about hooking the gauges into that as well.

IIRC, I'm using Blue/White.. It's one of the switched 12V sources for the radio.

I have no radio, so this is fine for me

The only problem with that is that, that wire drops voltage while cranking, and is on when the key is in the first forward position.

I used one of the wires that is used for the adjustable suspension, under the power mirror controls. I forget what color it was, but you can just use a voltmeter to find it.

I used a piggyback fuse to wire mine up. They plug into your fuse block and give you 2 slots for fuses where there was once one slot. One slot is used for the original function of the fuse, and the other has a wire coming out that you can run to your gauges and put whatever amp fuse in you want. They should be available at most automotive stores.

There are blanks in the fuse box that you can tap into with a male spade connector.
