Can't find "Hailers' " low impendance injector wiring write-up.

I have need this... my injectors are all low impd, 3 OHM. i have a 333 ECU and a 332 Ecu, and an 88 harness, someone stole my originals, and man i'm pissed, but now i just want to get it running right, i think the 333 ECU is fried b/c of the low imp. injectors on the 88 Harness..
i've got 260 miles on a new motor, but major fuel supply issues. as one would expect. thanks guys.
Car is a 10TH AE. 03/88.

Just trying to figure out were and how i need to wire the resistors in, Parallel?

parallel?

the circuit goes like this -> power -> injector-> resistor-> ecu

so you need 4 resistors, one for each injector. they are wired in between the injectors and ecu, mazda puts it in the engine bay, but they also built the harness so it was easy. putting them by the ecu is ok too, as long as they can't short out on anything.

I prefer 6 ohm resistors, which is the same as stock on the 86 - 87 1/2 cars:

so the local store only had 2 6.8 ohm, and 2 7.5ohm( for the 2ndarys), but i should be okay with this right? there all 2 WATTs

2 WATT is too little. You need something in the 10-20 WATT range. Just order some from mouser and wire them into the four injector wires at the ECU: LG, LG/W, LG/B, LG/R.

what is the downside to using my low imp on my high imp harness and ecu? as i only have 1 low imp injector on the sacondarys and one high.

I wouldn't mix and match injectors like that. High imp. injectors are 12-13 ohm, while low imp. injectors + the resistor pack are only 8-9 ohm (2-3 + 6 ohm pack). Injector response will vary slightly between the two. You would have to throw a 10 ohm resistor on that one single injector wire to try to balance it out. Just get matching injectors.
