Can you tell me what these are? hoses and wires. help!

Ok, so i got this fc for trade. It is beat the **** out of, greasier then any french *****, and just jacked up altogether. I have been gutting out the engine bay recently (removing a/c, power steering etc.) and have came across a few important looking things. I am not very inclined on the naming and describing parts thing, so i have took pics of these parts that are unplugged, plugged with a screw, and snapped. If anyone could tell me what any of these are i would be sooooo happy to keep on with the rebuild of my fc. And please dont tell me to look at a diagram.I cant be sure until someone who has experience can aknowledge that it is what it is. I dont want to mess anything up ya know. ok so here they are numbered. just leave the number and what it is in your respond. thanks to all!

engine is a 13b fuel injected NA...1986 gxl

1) this guy on the y shape piping he is unplugged, what and where does this go? do i need it?

2) the plug on the left, the tubing going into it busted. vacuum hose?

3)this is coming out of the same wiring harness as the master cylinder for the brake.

4)

5)someone put a screw in this hose. what the hell?

6)this plug on the left of the alternator. looks like it went to something idk

1. Bleed valve for the clutch slave cylinder. Nothing "plugs into" that unless you're bleeding the system.

2. That solenoid should look just like it's neighbor to the right. The nipple on the top is clearly broken off.

3.?

4.?

5.?

6. Lead to the optional cooling fan switch

Let's see.. First, picts are a bit huge ^_-
1:Bleed screw for the clutch slave [they come with a rubber cap that usually falls off, no worries]
2:One of the Emissions Solenoids [check the FSM to see exactly which], I'd say cap both ends of the rats' nest [both that go to that solenoid]
3/4:Not sure...
5:That's the input for the 5th/6th intake port actuators [supposed to be connected to the split-air pipe], you should lookup the airpump activation for this.
6:Looks like the extra water temp sensor connection for the Automatics [there's a little cup shape in your thermostat housing that sometimes has the sensor in it, you can leave it off]

I have been having trouble with idling, flooding and it burns gas I think worse then my 93 f-150 4x4. which gets about 10-15 mpg around town.

Pull the spark plugs and the EGI fuse and crank the engine for a few seconds and make sure the pulses sound even. This is an easy way to verify each of the 6 chambers is making even compression. If they sounds good, check the timing and have the fuel injectors professionally cleaned. Witchhunter is excellent and he replaces everything. Replaced the fuel filter too. Change the spark plugs. Verify the TPS is set correctly. Basically do a complete tune up and assume everything has been neglected. Worst case is the engine is worn out inside and needs to be rebuilt.

awesome thanks for the tips. i got all this stuff figured out. but i found another loose wire i was looking at diagrams and found that this wire goes to a ground or to transmission. not sure yet. but it is a female end piece and it located right behind the oil filter near the firewall. i did that compression test and it seemed like they had good compression. when i did the compression test i took the two bottom plugs out and had my buddy crank for about 10-15 seconds. they went one at a time really fast and pushed air out. is that the right way to do it? thanks much
