I will assume you have an s4. You can swap in an s5 alternator with a little wire splicing (connectors are different) I wouldn't recommend swapping in a 1st gen alt...they are only 50 or so amps.

You can also swap the alternator from an third generation RX-7 too. I have one of those. Requires a little wire splicing and a different mounting bolt/nut. Those put out quite a bit more than the S4's or S5's. I believe Silverrotor has them for sale.

All Alternators are Interchangable amoung series. Should you require more Info as to Inquiring on a FD Alternator setup, have a look here. https://www.rx7club.com//showthread....hreadid=172766 It's worth the Investment If you want an Alternator that outperforms the FC'S Alternator, respectively.

My biggest fan I take It? At any rate, I'm glad all Is well with your setup Santiago and you've repaired all neccessary corrections to your FC to truly reap the FD Alternator benifits for what It's worth.

chiefnobum, I do believe I got back to you.
