OH Can this be used to make an N/A to TII driveshaft?

I just bought a JDM S4 TII engine for a TII swap on my N/A. The slip yoke was still on the tranny when I got it. Would a shop be able to weld this to my N/A driveshaft? I don't know too much about driveshafts so I wasn't sure if it would be possible or not.

Also, I was hoping someone has had a shop do this so I could kind of get a price range of how much it would cost.

Wondering if I would just be better off buying the one from Mazdatrix.

a driveline shop can work with it and your n/a driveshaft to make a hybrid conversion shaft. it can either be welded or a special u-joint used to adapt the 2 different size u-joint retainers.

The mazdatrix one isn't too expensive and less of a headache. If you look hard enough you can find a used one for very cheap. I have no idea how much it would cost for a driveline shop to make one though, maybe it would be cheaper.

yep, the mazdatrix driveshaft really isn't outrageously priced. i had one made by a driveline shop for a TII transmission to n/a diff and it cost almost as much as the mazdatrix shaft minus about $30 plus shipping costs, so saved about $60.

Thanks Karack thats what I needed to know. I'm just gonna order the Mazdatrix one. I hate trying to cut corners and be cheap but this swap is getting a little off budget and I just want it on the road. Thanks again guys.
