Main Relay
For what purpose? Why not just get a stock one that plugs right in? I think i have two good ones lying around...
Make sure you are getting a DPST one and it is rated for the proper amps for each circuit...as there are two circuits controlled by the main relay.

At the Main Relay four wire plug if you jumper the White/Red wire to the Black/Yellow wire and the White/Blue to Black/White wire it will bypass the relay so you could see if it really is a contributing factor to your problem or not. Leaving the wires jumpered will eventually drain the battery so make sure to disconnect them after testing things. Also, the relay needs a ground signal to the Black wire in the two wire plug and a voltage source to the Black/White wire in the same plug for the relay to click.

I was just looking for an inexpensive option for replacing the Main Relay.

I'll try this in the a.m. to rule the relay out. thanks Satch
thanks again Satch

Could be the only problem is a faulty ground to the relay which is an easy fix if that were the problem. The B/W wire in the two wire relay plug is powered by the 15 amp Engine fuse but the car would not run if that fuse were bad so either something is preventing the B/W wire from having voltage on it w/key to on which is very easy to check or the problem is the ground wire or the wires in the plug are not making good contact or the relay itself is damaged.
