Can someone tell me which flywheel this is? **PICS INSIDE**

Hi
I purchased this flywheel from a member a year ago, he told me he had it installed on his NA FC, he also sold me the flywheel with a s5 counterweight.
Finally after a year, the car is in the shop getting worked on. I am also installing an ACT clutch drag/street strip, but when the mechanic was doing the flywheel/clutch today, he noticed that the pressure plate would not bolt to this flywheel. He thinks the clutch must be for a turbo application but I spoke with the seller and he had it working on his NA. So my mechanic resurfaced the stock flywheel and installed the act clutch/pressure plate. My mechanic has had 2 rx7s both were extensively modified.

The RB flywheel is designed to work with stock clutches, and the act pressure plate is designed to work with stock flywheels, so I don't see why the bolts holes would not line up.

I will go by tomorrow to compare the stock flywheel with the RB one and take pictures. Has anyone installed the act drag/street clutch with an RB aluminum flywheel?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Alex

um its either a turbo flywheel, which is bigger in diameter.

or you need the hardware kit http://mazdatrix.com/getprice.asp?partnum=95368

Hey Alex, its me Justin did that box I sent you have the hardware kit in it? I included a picture you need the little spacers and those bolts to bolt your pressure plate and clutch . Its a little bit cheaper at http://www.racingbeat.com/RX7-1986-1...els/95368.html. I also went through my rubber maids and found the clutch, it was for sure an NA sized clutch.

Okay. It looks like I need this hardware kit. I don't have those two large black bolts. Can I reuse the stock bolts?
The stock flywheel is raised on parts of the edges, the RB is not. Do these spacers act in their place?

Thanks!

it's a racing beat flywheel , 11inch dia for NA, 13inch dia for turbo. the flywheel is universal between series but the counterweight must match the motor.
yes i have an act 6puck spring hub on my aluminum flywheel. works good.

you cannot grind this flywheel, because you can't grind the land, which would result in major slipping. buy a new face from racingbeat, it comes with the hardware for it. then get the clutch hardware in the same shipment.
