If your talking about the temp gauge in the dash the sendor is on the rear iron below your oil pressure gauge.

you can take your dash out and pull the wire out of the the main plug on it if you'd like but I suggest running a new wire to save time. Both senders for the gauges are underneath the oil filter pedestal.

i have looked and i have 2 sensers 1 is right beside to the left of the oil pressure unit and the only other 1 is above it on the uper or middle intake and it ahs 2 prongs. and the sensor beside the oil pressure unit seems to work my oil pressure guage so the only other 1 is the 2 prong one on the intake and it dosent work for my temp guage.

The temp gauge is the small sensor right next to the oil pressure sending unit. Its a small one wire clip on type deal.

If you are putting in an aftermarket gauge, don't even think of using the stock sensor location-it won't fit. Drill & tap your water pump housing in line with the flow of coolant (it becomes apparent where you need to drill once you have the pump off). If you are using the stock one, nvm

Maybe using the oil psi sending wire instead of the temp wire.
